Yesterday, April 2nd, got the truck out of cold storage and took it in for the radiator fluid change, brake fluid change, inspection stickers (yes there are two here). I am getting ready for 9 months of Lightning supportive weather to drive in here. Well it started to snow yesterday, and then continued all day, and all night and its still snowing. We have gotten about a foot of freakin snow!!! :bs
I had already washed the snowblower, sprayed it down with WD40 and armoralled the plastic, but now I am going to have to take it out and use it hopefully one last time this Spring (yes that is Spring). Last year I had the truck out on March 1st and only had a couple of days that werent great for driving after that..
This just downright sucks, but I guess its the price you pay to have 78 degree weather in July and August and have great HP and boost numbers knana
It just isnt fair.

I finally stopped just before 7p. So after the township snowplow came through and made a 3ft high ice and snow drift at the end of the driveway, I got the snowblower out AGAIN. I went and did the whole driveway AGAIN, but it didnt take nearly as long this time as the first time. Then my neighbor came over and asked to borrow my snowblower since he sucked up a door mat in his :rll: ..
He brought it back and said mine kicks ass over his, so I bet I know what will be on his shopping list for next year..

Tomorrow, sunny and mid 40's, 50's on Tues and 60's on Wed..
Ronald, enjoy it while you can..

Most likely a new doormat since you let him borrow your blower. :rll:
Sorry to hear about the crummy weather. I can't imagine not driving my L for that long.

:ron: My Mom and Dad bought a snow blower in the 70's think it was around the blizzard of 77 ... http://larc.hamgate.net/blizzard_of_1977.htm
It is an Ariens with like a 10 hp brigs and stratton. The damn thing is till running and starts on the first pull. Thats right my nearly 70 year old parents are pull starting a 25 year old 10+hp brigs and stratton....
They dont makes stuff lkike that any more..

Well mine has electric start
You plug it into the wall and hit the start button, but I pull start it too, sometimes its just easier to do that. But the 20 year old snowblower is more common than you think.

Helps keep the mileage off. Since I didnt put enough miles on my L last year, I get an exempt from the pollution police. :nana2
