My wife works for a recruiting firm here in Dallas.
I have been telling her that there are quite a few guys posting lately about layoff or friends who have been hit by recent layoffs.
She sent me this email this morning if anyone is interested in the following positions:

I have several direct hire positions I need some help finding strong
candidates for. Maybe you know of some folks from your online "little truck
club". They are all out of state.

1. Telecom Project Manager for voice/data market- the client is a partner to
Avaya (formally Lucent Technologies) need Project management experience in
installing Avaya Partner, Magic and/or Definity PBX systems, Octel Messaging
Systems etc......Qualifications, BA/AA degree and/or vocational Technical
Training Cert preferred. Preferred experience with High Cap (T1, ISDN
PRI,56K Frame relay)
San Francisco, CA will relocate right person....salary $50-60K

2. Avaya Certified Implementation Engineer- pretty close to description
above plus Nortel Optio II, Norstar etc. also in CA salary $50-60K, plus
bonus potential.

3.JDE One World CNC Administrator- client is a major homebuilder in Central
Ohio...3-5 years experience with JDE One world CNC, Xe experience a must.
Knowlege of user security, testing and installation of ESU's, Service Packs,
SAR's, Updates and package build and deployments. Knowledge of Citrix
Metaframe, SQL 2000, Windows 2000, C++ and Object Management Workbench.
Location, Columbus Ohio. Salary $60-70K, not sure yet if they will pay for
relocation.

4. Director of Regulatory Affairs- Pharmaceutical company in Santa Rosa CA.
Vast experience in preparing regulatory submissions including IND's,
ANDA's and NDA's especially for dermatological products. Must have
experience in writing CMC sections of NDA's, FDA submissions and
understanding of FDA guidelines.
Location, Santa Rosa, CA. Salary $100-120K, will relocate the right person.
