Greetings:
Anyone ever converted a Exp'y to L specs? My wife is wanting a kid carrier, however if I have to shell out the bucks for a 01-03 L its gonna get the 'treatment'. I understand from JDM that a Exp'y will take the harness/crate motor of the L, but how big of a nightmare just are we talking? Am I wrong for thinking 10k or so to 'get 'er done?' Terry, can you do such a deal, or should I say to heck with it? Thing is, I gotta try to make her happy, or no Vette in my near future.

There is another guy over on NLOC that has a 96 Bronco conversion to a gen 1 Lightning complete with a Kenne Bell blower. Its for sale and he lives in Ennis.
I've personally seen the truck about a year ago it was nicely done.

That's my neighbor Scott and his wife Christy. He signed up here but a thread he started about voting for his wife in some biker chick contest got really heated and he never came back.

Hey... the guy with the 4x4 Expy and the 5.4 L motor... nice picture of short tube equal length headers.
I didn't know these were available... is it due to the fact that long tubes work better?

That's a cool truck. If its as clean as it looks and it runs like it should, that's a good deal at $16.6k for a 52k mile Expy with an L/Harley motor. The big question is "if"....

Exactly, that's why I passed. If it was local and I could go look it over that would be one thing. There's way too much that could be wrong. I also noticed they weren't real big on the interior pics, with custom interior, I've found it can look real good....or real real bad.
