Anyone out there? I've spoken with Milton/Ivanhoe recently and I know Tom/skalywags are mainframe/Big-Iron fellers.

We are needing individuals with a mainframe background - Top-Secret clearance is a bonus. The last MF work I did was back at OU in Cobol I/II.

Thanks,

Ronald

I'm good at Doom and Medal of Honor. Still trying to master the Seal Bounce, though.

It is estimated there are 2.2 billion lines of COBOL in PRODUCTION today, and without it the fortune 500 could not function;)

Thanks,

RonaldI'm not looking but know a few people who may be. Where and is the rate good? I used to have a Top Secret clearance. Programming is programming. Doesn't really matter what language, none is real exciting. At least with COBOL you have a better chance of undersanding it if yuo know English. It's not a bunch of geek crap that some frustrated wanna be different programmers came up with so they can have the flavor of the month.

Milton/Tom,

The full-time job is based Dallas with up to 75% travel. The overall salary/compensation pkg. is very good - including 401k, full-benefits, etc., etc.

If you're interested or know someone who is, send their resume(s) my way. The mainframe and top-secret aspects are the main points we're seeking.

I remember in college ('96-'98) that all the experts said that client-server was taking over, and that Mainframe (Big-Iron) was a dying breed.

Thanks,

Ronald
