We got a few more Manley forged short block kits in. If you rebuild your engine before it vents itself you save $1200 on a new style replacement block;)

How much would it cost for just the parts to build the bottom end? I mean if someone wanted to build it themselves. I guess what I'm asking is how much is just a rebuild kit, no labor and no install?

You're not my type, but I am open to substitutions:D .

The Manley kits with modified oil pump and ARP main studs are 1750. That is a forged short block kit you still need a gasket set which is 600 from Ford. If you want head studs they are 250+.

Keep in mind that these are the proprietary JDM/Manley pistons. They are the ONLY quiet as stock piston on the market! I have used CP, JE, Diamond etc and they all had considerable piston noise. One cusotmer was concerned the piston noise would hurt his resale as it sounded like a diesel when cold. CP has even tried to copy a few of the Manley design secrets but they still make noise. I am very up front with what you are paying for and what the outcome will be.

I got je's and they sure do make noise until it warms all the way up. even then you still hear a little bit of noise. very anoying when i'm running late to work and i can''t wait too long for her to warm all the way up.:hammer:

No problem I understand if someone just wants a kit to do themselves. There is no good or bad side;) .

I just want to build my own motor, I know how, have the tools to do it and really enjoy building motors. And I think I've been on the "dark side" for a while now!
