Who runs long tubes & straight threw muffs

I'm going down to see terry next weds. for a new full exhaust, and need some opinions on if i should go mild or wild. No disrespect on your advice Terry, but i've been running delta flowmasters for 4 years now, and i would love to rattle someones glass where i live:eek2:

Ride with BC he has a wild system as does Mark #2. Adam has Bassani, and Wes has a mild, and so on...

Oh I forgot Wes has stage 2 cams so his will be louder by default. I say mild is aggressive and wild is obnoxious. Just get with BC Mike or Mark#2 both have long tubes and 4" muffs on headers. Fireman Sam 'Phoenix' has a mild system and he lives up in NRH 2O area. I prefer the mild as I consider myself to have some taste:D .

I think i have the loudest exhaust in talon, shortie headers, high flow cats, x pipe and dyno max race bullet mufflers, they shouldnt be called mufflers and are listed for race use only. Terry and BcL usualy harass me by telling me since im so loud i must be the fastest :rolleyes:

Here is a sound clip of mild system at cruise on a built motor. The radio is cranked up pretty good and my truck had full dynamat.

I have long tubes and bassani. Its f-in loud. It will break windows.

As L8APEX mentioned I have a loud system. Silverbullet with LT and CATS.
I do not recommned this, it is too much and I have full Dynomat too.

L8, I think you need a marketing name change for the systems, loud and cool, versus, too loud for anyone over 20.

I call them the over 30 under 30 systems. But with headers I will only install a mild system or Bassani unless the owner is unsane or track use only.

L8, thread mis direction, when installing a Fluidyne do you leave the upper stock rubber pieces in place and space the rear mount with washers on top of the mounting bracket? Or do you drill the stock mount with 2 holes on each side and remove the stock rubber? This looks better to me.

I didn't know they were still produced due to high costs compared to the hoes out there. When I did mine and Robs, Rons, Mikes, etc. No rubbers and just a longer 6x1mm bolt through the stock mounting point. Ron tore his off a few times while jumping onto his trailer. So I drilled it to 1/4" and used 1/4-20 hardware. They may have revised them by now. I also drilled the bottoms of them to accept push pins to hold the flap I think. just use caustion about hitting the core. I used a small unibit and bought some push pins from the parts store. The other way if there are no holes in the bottom is to make a few cuts and bend some tabs over and drill those for the flap mounting. Some dispose of the flap but I like the flap.

Thanks, got a pretty good deal on it, and it looks like a custom fab job as you have described, thanks for the clues. Looks like I'm in the fab business to get it to your and my standards.
