I think the firefighters were actually laughing at the car before turning on the water...what a pity.

That type of thing has got to suck, but it does not really look like the work done in the engine compartment was done by a professional...looked kinda jimmy-rigged if you ask me...

larger aftermarket turbo and turbo exhaust manifold you have to move crap around on those cars to make it fit.... But thats why i hate upgrading turbos on cars that the turbo is between the block and firewall. The stock firewall insulation cant take the added heat of the larger turbo. I bet money that is what happened. Seen it happed a few times, but luckily nothing was hurt.

Yep, that would suck alright. Even though that car wasn't my cup of tea, a major loss like that hurts the wallet.

I can't figure out why the Firefighters approached from the rear near the gas tank and down wind so that they were covered with smoke!?

Seems as if they were more interested in getting film than pulling anything outof it or putting out the flames.

They saw the flames start on the back of the engine but started with the extinguisher on the interior ?

I wonder if it was a setup
