You know all the crap they blow about the training and costs of selling SVT's. Well you think they could get the HP of the vehicle correct:rolleyes I told them it was wrong two weeks ago and it is still there. Maybe nobody wants to buy it becasue it has less power than the rest:D http://www.f150online.com/galleries/images/209-218-30590.jpg

Tools! No wonder why so many people are clueless about these trucks. The damn dealer is contributing to the misinformation! And they even spelled "Lightning" wrong? :bs

I'll never forget the first time I went to an "SVT" dealer and asked about the Lightning. The salesman (I swear) looked at me stupidly and said "what's a Lightning?" Then he tried to seel me a Harley Davidson F-150 and before I left he said "if you get the chance to take a Lightning out for a test drive, bring it by, I'd like to see one". Amazing how uninformed the dealers are.:bs:

L8 told me about this 3 -4 weeks ago I took a picture and sent it to the dealership. I was VERY clear that I owned a lightning ( that ironically I bought there ) and that I thought they were idiots.
3 weeks later they call me to see if Iam interested in buying the truck. I said no - I wouldnt buy a truck from a delaer that didnt know their own vehicles and even after being reminded twice made no effort to be accurate
PS your service dept SUCKS

That's ridiculous.
Having gone thru the 'training' that Ford offers, it's basically a videotape extolling the virtues of the vehicle. Sometimes there are interactive video conference type training sessions also, after which you are tested. That's one part of Blue Oval certification. That dealership has to have a certain percentage of "certified" salespeople. The training, IMHO, is a joke tho.
This is evident at this dealership, no? :d

My father is a manager for the sister store of the dealer in question. How's this for employee appreciation: Since the dealer at which my father is employed is not SVT-cert. I attempted to buy an L at A-plan from the 'other' store. The SVT store insisted that I pay full sticker even though I was using an A-plan pin number. So much for employee relations. Those dudes suck ass.
So I went to Westway, my father's former store, and bought the 2002 L at A-plan for $27,888 and drove off. List price my ass.

And then there's the SVT dealer that wouldn't accept an order for a 2000 L., but they said they'd call me as soon as they got one in. Funny, they still haven't called. :hammer: Sure am glad I didn't wait on them. :D

Or how about the "SVT Specialist" at a particular north Dallas dealership that scoffed at me like I took the lords name in vein in front of the pope himself for asking to purchase an L on X plan. He acted the same way when I bought one on X down the road and brought it by to show him. :D :D :D

More reason to by a Z06 :eek2:
That's funny!!! My wife and I drive by this particular dealer everyday. I've been seeing this truck and wondering if that's what it said and just confirmed it last night. This is sad!

They have not released the pricing on 03's. The truck will probably be a late release Dec-Jan. With the listed mods I hope they are not more than 1K over last year!

Revised Steering Gear for reduced lash. This is great! The steering has too much play. Now is they would just go rack and pinion like the Mustang.... :D

I was surprised when I found out they didn't have Rack and pinion
