Good thing the L and the Lexus are nice and cozy in the garage.
For anyone that gets caught in a hailstorm, I've found that having an XL padded furniture blanket on hand to through over the hood/roof is lifesaver.

It looks to be moving very slow, too, which is uncommon. That's a good thing, of course. I took a look at the radar about an hour ago and it was still way out there around Archer City. It could be after midnight by the time it gets here... hopefully it will lose some of its strength by then.

Looks like all of my hard work today paid off. I cleaned out the garage in order to fit both the truck and the car. knana  knana

Actually, the stuff out there in Wichita Falls is moving north/northeast... we may get some rain/storms, but it doesn't appear from the really bad cells that are out there right now.

We got some pea sized hail here in east Tarrant county. A little wind, a lot of thunder and lightning and a moderate amount of rain. No damage that I can see.
I hope everyone else faired as well.

Wondering what happened with this. I didn't even get a drop of rain out in S Arlington.

We heard the thunder sometime in the early morning (after 3am); we had put all 3 outside vehicles up against the 2-car garage doors, in the lee of the building. No evidence of hail or anything. :tu:

No hail in Frisco/Tulsa this weekend. Just alot of wind/lighting.
But, sorta' off-topic, we received a "freak" hail-storm in Miami like 2-weeks ago.
Strange to witness a hail-storm at 2pm~ EST in MIA with all the heat/humidity.
Too busy to have the camera to document the event.

I was getting a little nervous about those storms. I was camping (if being in a motor home is really camping) in Bonita, for a croos country dirt bike race. Bonita is up around St Jo and Muenster. We didn;t have the satellite tv hooked up so I wondered over to another camp to watch the weather. We were gettinga really cool lightning show, and eventually got some rain but not the big storm they had just to the west.
