If I had it to do again I would buy a KB and fuel injectors and be done with it.

In addition to the KB, what other mods or changes would be recommended if one of these was installed. I'm assuming with that much more power that some of the stock engine pieces would become less reliable or maybe have a shorter lifespan?
What do the fuel injectors have to do with it?

You don't need the injectors unless you're runing north of 14 psi with the KB. The deal with the KB is that you can easily exceed 400+ RWHP with around 10 psi on an otherwise stock set-up.
IMO, 400 RWHP is actually safer with the KB than the factory Eaton on a stock truck, because you don't have to spin the KB nearly as hard to get it to produce the boost necessary to reach that power level.
The Eaton will have to produce 12-14 psi (by being spun much faster) to make 400 RWHP on an otherwise stock truck. Thus, the slower you spin the blower, the less heat it is going to generate; and less heat translates into more power. Just my .02...

To really run a KB I would do SCT MAF, 60# injectors because they flow well and are chpear than smaller injectors, and a good dyno tune. I think it can make 430-450 all day long.

I never really understood why something can have a whole bunch of bids on it initially and then nothing for days. That price has been the same since this thread started right?

People sometimes bid and hope noone else will bid on it and they'll win for a minimum price. I never bid until the last minute, no need to drive the price up. It's an auction only in name, the highest bid doesn't necessairly win, the highest bid when time expires does. I always snipe during the last few seconds.

Brook,
There are some apps/plug-ins out there called "E-bay sniper" or something where you can nickle-and-dime the other guy out of the top-bid at the last minute like Wes said.

I'm old school eBay, I have 3-4 windows open at a time with incremental bids. It's hard to beat the sniper software tho.....it jsut depends who gets that last bid in when it ends. There are countless sniper programs out there now......I still rock it old school tho :)

To me, these are the same assuming the reserve has been met. Highest bid is highest bid whether it was made days before or at the last second.
I understand about waiting until the last second.
I suppose the reason they don't put a one minute extension on it each time someone bids higher is that people like the way it works now. And that more often than not, they save money by not having last minute contests.
Not good for the sellers though.

eBay has it set up where you can put in your bid, with increments you set, and your top bid, and then it automatically goes back and forth with whoever has done the same thing, and once all those run out, the ones that are left and still interested do like they said before, "snipe" the auction 'til the last second.
