LFest BBQ or Hooters??

Guys...those of you going to Lightningfest this year...are you doing the BBQ or is there plans to go to Hooters that night instead? I'm just getting ready to sign up and figured I'd ask. Don't want to pay for the BBQ if nobody else is going...

I think you can sign up when you ge there on the wekend of the event if you want. You'll pay more at the gate than if you preregister, though.

I didn't eat it last year but I did in '03. This year is in KC not Topeka so there is a different cater ( I'm sure). Also, I paid @ the gate both years,I believe its like $25-$30 more, maybe more than that,can't remember exactally.

Tom, this is a good post. So far they are 0 for 2 on getting a good BBQ event together. I would much rather go somewhere else with my money.

Chalk up another vote for Hooters. The BBQ has sucked two years running.
