There will be a mobile Dyno at Denton Dragway on Friday. You can dyno your vehicle for only $10 from 7 PM to midnight. Gates open at 7 PM; admission is $10 (doesn't include dyno) plus $5 for a tech card.

Street Wars start at 11 PM and go until 1:30 AM. We've lowered the price for spectators to $5. It is still $10 to race (if you came in before 11, you don't pay again).

Saturday, in addition to brackets, we have test & tune and midnight drags. Gates open at 6:30 PM. Admission before 11 PM is $15 for pit side drive in plus $5 for a tech card or $10 for pit side walk in. Afer 11 PM, it is $10 to race or $5 to watch. We will close at 1 AM.

The track will not be open on Sunday.

Zoe,
Please verify that you will have 104 available tomorrow, and will the dyno have A/F measurements?

Thanks,
Mark

Okay, cool, but if 104 is available before you get there I will probably purchase some, and dyno. 18 psi on a stock block for those interested.;)

One of my friends at work is going to bring his open road race Firebird, it will be slow in the 1/8th, but it cruises at 160ish.

Well last night was interesting to say the least.
Weather was nice.
Had fun with Michael/SO, and Adam/friend, didn't want to post names, and my work buddy with this Firebird.
Michael and I made 3 runs, and then my buddy beat a Z06.
Next round Michael and I lined up behind the same Z06 and he blew a rearend and the track was down for 1.5 hours.

Just after they reopened the track a 7 sec. older pickup crashed hard in the good lane.

Micheal and I decided that we had seen enough so we changed tires back to streets.

Adam, Michael, and I did a couple of rounds of full weight head to head. That was fun(no traction)

I ran a 7.67 full weight on slicks, 8.73 over full weight with all tires, jacks, cooler, tools, etc on street tires.
