My dad actually buy's and rebuilds Honda Trail 50's 70's and 90's. I think thats what they are called? He build a Trail 50, and customized it black and chrome. Its like one of those little pocket bikes people buy, except its a sturdy bike that goes about 45 mph. Ill try and post up a few pictures of it.
It looks good in the back of the black L on chrome.

Mark,
It is 107CC 4-speed, 4.5 inches of ground clearance, 53 inch wheelbase,
33 inches high at the handlebars.
It was assembled yesterday, and Flatsman has already been racing it.:nana2
It is a rigid suspension so you get the real feel of the road:rolleyes:
PS: I have plans for Sixpipes too knana

If it is a kit I would like a link.
Power adders possible?

My recommendation is to be patient -- you can get a deal:beer:
Now to mod the bike to be competetive with Sixpipes and Flatsman --- oh the competition thing
But this may end up being Razor's wheels, I have found something even more interesting:d:d

I feel in all fairness that we must consider having a couple of classes for the pit bikes. Multispeed versions are obviously in a different class than single speed when it comes to performance. As a matter of fact, I'm not really sure what constitutes a "pit bike". If it is a motorcycle that you ride in the pits, I have an R6 in the garage (for sale BTW) that would do rather nicely on the track (like high 11's). So I am open to suggestions with respect to Pit Bike classes. Power adders allowed. :evil
Gen I - single speed
Gen II - multispeed

What if the multispeed bikes only used one gear???
Back when I was a member of the corvette club in Denton, there was a guy named Sandy Shephard who had a pit bike which looked a lot like sixpipes bike , had a Mac 10 on it burning nitro, and he ran high 10s in the quarter, so gears do not necessarily make it faster:beer:

Given enough time (kids not overdue for thier bath and wife not standing over shoulder reminding me...) I could have figured it out...
Besides, the old man spends a little more time on these boards than I do... :) I did know how to get the picture there, and next time will know how to do the video... :)
But I can definatly appreciate the irony of it all... :)

In the words of PTI.... "knucklehead" with an engine puller for this engine:rll:
I haven't succumbed to the pit bike thing as it looks like a G only event at this point. I wish I still had my old go-cart motors at this point, they are still sitting in my dad's basement I think, not that they would run today. Dual 2 stroke 100cc Chrysler outboard engines, these used to be the thing for go carts a very very long time ago.

The little screws labeled #33 were the biggest problem. They would come loose and get into the piston.

Doug,
Are the foot holds set up so that you ride left foot forward or right foot forward? I can't really tell from the pictures. I can only ride left front forward.
Do you have skateboarding experience if not, I have many that you can practice on.
Otherwise I tend to agree with 6er

If I can't get in it or wrap my legs around it..........I'm not riding it (insert your own joke). I also won't try to ride anything larger than me with a mind of its own. That initially applied to horses, but in later years I also adapted that to my college dating habits. :eek2:

I haven't been back on the damn thing since then.
