Just wanted to see what other have gotten on their road trips in their L's?

Just got back from Houston, Toke I-45 to get there set cruise at 90-95MPH (thats the flow of traffic there) non-stop and got 17MPG on a mild summer tune. Which I did think that was bad!!:tu: Got 355 miles got of a tank of gas!

Wow...pretty good. I get about a 1/4 mile per gallon, in a stop and go situation. Maybe 12 onthe highway.

I seem to always get 23.5 - 14.5 no matter what. Long trips with the dirt bike in back, running 80 - 100, or cruising around town to work.

I'm lucky if I get 13-14 out of mine on the highway doing 75-90 and 11-12 in traffic. How are y'all getting such good gas mileage? The only mods I have are C&L flow and ram air.

I used to keep close tabs on all the city/hwy mpg #s, but it only made my brain hurt.:cool:

I was in the upper-middle on all these mpg gas-consumption #s when the L was a daily-driver on road-trips to Tulsa, etc. and work commutes in DFW with a heavy foot.
