It's good to hear that you're very pleased with Terry. He's very reputable.

As far as a line to his shop... most of us have already been there for something. :)

There is about a two month backlog on engines, two weeks on trannies, and a week or so on daily work. I have been very fortunate to have these opportunities:bows :tu:

Terry, you have your own shop now, that specializes only in Lightning,s Vettes, and diesels?? Or does PR work out of another shop...I cant remember.

Beaudee did you get a built block?

Beaudee did you get a built block?[/QUOT No i didn't get my motor built, he just unconstapated my stock truck with a #4 lwr ,filter ,tune, plugs. These are the only mods i have besides Magnaflow catback S.S. #15714.I took it to him because i didn't want to have a need for a block rebuild. My truck has only 5k on it.@ w.o.t. its like a spring uncoiling, and the throttle response is immediate.Off a light easing into w.o.t. the rear wheels chirp 2nd and 3rd. :tu:

Wes when i had the tune done i told him i wanted it conservative and asked him about your tune.He said he didn't tune yours and everyone is like a snowflake.Anyway it might be a good time to try one of the new sct tuners he got in.My tuner is the old style, i missed em by a week.No complaints here though.

I have bought a few things from Terry, and a few things from other vendors. I'm happy with what I've got to be honest. 12.8 @ 109 on radials w/ a 4#, CAI (both from Terry), a FTVB, an aftermarket heat exchanger (from Terry) and an SCT tune is pretty stout when I compare these same mods with times others have run. The dyno #s are strong as well w/ a good looking A/F ratio.

Since this is not something that I race that often, I'm more inclined to leave well enough alone. :)

Not sure I understand the "snowflake" comment, but ... whatever. :)

I took the snowflake comment as "every one is different". What might be right for one is not necessarily what's right for another.

You're right Brook I try to touch each tune up for the end user. Responsible drivers like Rob, Rocks, Doug etc Igive them a little more because they use it wisely. Jerkys like BC Lightning get the jerkyproof tunes:D . I really spend time on each tune with timing, shift firmness, and many other factors tailored to the owner. A lot of other shops only have street or race tunes they slap in a tuner and mail to your door.
