I am testing the waters here to see what you guys think.

As some of you know I am in the process of finishing my built motor and I have been toying with the idea of twin milling it. I have a lead on two 75mm's for not that much money.

Anyway for about the same money as a KB I can twin mill it and I know I will lose some of the low end torque but I will gain up top.

I have decided on the Patriot stage 3 heads 5 angle valve job 1.84 intake, 1.45 exhaust stainless steel valves, Titanium Retainers, 600" Lift Springs and Bronze Guides.

I am up in the air with either the 233/237 lift .545/.550 duration with a 113 LSA. Or the 220 lobe 224, 238 valve 242 Duration and .590 / .601 lift not sure of the LSA but I think it is also 113.

Your input would be greatly apprechiated.

Brent,
Sorry for my ignorance, but what is twin milling? Twin turbos?

No question is ignorant. Twin Mill is twin turbo.

I know that some people have done singles but I have not seen a twin setup as of yet.

Everything has been done once anyway. There was a black 02 Harley for sale a few years back with twin turbos claiming 1000 hp.

Terry I am thinking this becuase it would help me out with my future plans but the more I am reading and seeing I think that going with a KB is more cost effective.

Okay I still need some input on the cams I have listed this will help me alot. Remeber that she is still and will be street driven but 650 to 700 should not be to much for the street right?

Brent, if you *want* TTs, go for it. Terry can go jump into a bottle of Crown... :d

Seriously, if you want to do it, just do it, and enjoy it. Maybe do something different with them (stuff 'em in the upper valley, or hang 'em off the front of the motor, or run piping so short that there's no lag at all).

I thought you were running 4-valve heads??

well out of curiosity, is this going to be daily driven? if so a 3 angle valve job may be more appropriate. 5 angle will wear too fast for a typical street car.

as far as the cam grinds, i think most turbo cams dont have very much overlap and typically less duration then a s/c cam. i think high lift is a good thing. i havent done much turbo cam grind studying, but i think this is what i seem to remember.
