And the jury's verdict is GUILTY!!!

It's well-known that the color RED attracts COPS, so they're either spending most of their time going SLOW, or being STOPPED and TICKETED!! :rll::evil:

Uh that just means black can be fast, but it still is NOT the fastest:rolleyes:

If you want to use that rating 6 of the 10 fastest on DragTruk are Chevys:nana2

The fastest person to buy something off the internet and then turn around and sell it..

BC Lightning:D

These are some redneck racers fo sho. Anyone with basic skilz would fab their own exhaust manifolds and stuph. Instead of flipping the stock stuph over and trying to weld cast iron.

I resemble that remark. :D If this is redneck, you can call me that any day. It actually had me going at first but I'm a pretty mellow, laid back guy. :tu: It's not like I'm using bailing wire, duct tape, and a rusty mailbox for a hood scoop to piece together a shitty old fox body. I am putting some quality pieces in this build including a forged lower end and all new braided fuel pressure and return lines, etc.

I just found this thread BTW. I am using the stock manifolds flipped around for a few reasons. One - less fab work, Two - cheaper, and Three - Easier for someone else to duplicate if they wanted to. Having custom headers built would = a lot more $$$ than I wanted to spend because I'm not good enough to build my own.

If you would like to sponsor me and custom build a set I'd love to have some though. I'd be happy to fly the Performance Research banner on my truck. If you could plumb and fab all the hot and cold side turbo piping for my truck, PM me and maybe we can work out a deal. :tu: :tu: My local turbo shop was going to do it, but I'm always open for options. I could trailer it down there and let you do it. I've heard nothing but great things about your work.

I think what you are doing is pretty badass:tu: . I'm interested in seeing what happens. I only have one question. I have always heard that it is better to go with one big turbo, rather than a twin setup. Have you thought about that?

Actually the twins will spool a tiny bit quicker that a single. Plus, there are several single turbo setups either already done or in the works. I wanted to be different and put 2 on mine.

Main reason many cars use two turbos is to help eliminate turbo lag.. Yes one big turbo is better than two but either way its a nice setup and will be tons of fun.
