Hopefully that is me. I left my truck with Terry and a huge laundry list of mods and services to try to get done by 8a on Sat. I know that Terry is breaking speed records in the process. Thanks Terry!!

Cant wait to feel that newfound HP and TQ! But have a 2 day drive back to Erie to look forward to.

It looks like a sucessful mission. Dana called me at 3am saying their plane was late. So I got there at 6:30 and his plane got there about 7:45. He headed north and I headed south.

I needed to finish this thread off with a fairly long post.. so hold on to your keyboards.

I dropped the truck off with Terry late Monday afternoon leaving the truck in his hands wanting to upgrade my basically stock truck to something that is going to be reliable as stock but wanted more performance. My only performance mods to date were a filter, throttle body and a microtuner. I needed to up it to a 4# and a Xcal2 plus whatever Terry felt was right. It had also been a while since some maintenance had been done, so I wanted Terry to perform those services since he is the only person I really trust with my truck. The other part of this equation is that I HAD to have my truck back and ready to go on Saturday morning since I would be driving back to Erie and its a full two day drive from Dallas.

Terry shipped off the supercharger to to have it ported, cleaned the intercooler (pics in this thread) installed a new pulley, installed the electric fan kit, Hotchkiss sway bars, installed the C&L plenum and elbow, installed Extreme Dynamat (pics in this thread), and installed a new boost gauge and pod. From a maintenance standpoint, he changed the spark plugs, oil and filter (Mobil 1 of course), changed the fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, repaired my turn stop, rotated the tires, replaced my brake pads and replaced both belts.

He stayed late nights and then all night on Friday to have my truck ready for me at the south gate of DFW (so I didnt have to take a cab to Duncanville). I got the truck and it was all fueled up and clean and ready for the road.

What are the results? They are FANTASTIC!!! The change in the engine response is incredible, the truck corners flatter and seems to corner with less understeer in that I take corners now and the blinkers are still on. The supercharger spools up quicker and easier than before. The cab is quieter with the dynamat addition and made the trip home much better. The look under the hood is very cool with the new plenum and elbow plus it adds just a little bit to the overall performance picture. One of the real differences is that the performance above 60 mph is really enhanced. Before the truck was quick but if you got on it at highway speeds, the truck would run out of breath, now, holy cow, it just has so much more power than before at higher speeds. The wife was driving it on our trip home and would go to pass other cars on the highway at routinely hit 90+mph. knana This is from a person that does not drive that fast and yells at me when I do. It was just too easy to do.
Yet with all these mods, the truck is so civil and easy to drive. The upgrades were perfect for me. I dont race on a regular basis and its my daily driver here 8-9 months out of the year.
Terry also gave me the very first tune of this type that he has ever done. :tu: I have the first "ARTIC" tune!! Well, I need it up here. When fall comes around, the daily highs start to drop and its dangerous territory for our Lightnings when it does. The nice part is that there is plentiful cool/cold air but leaning out a supercharged engine is not a good thing.

Terry went above the call of duty for me and I cant thank him enough. For me, the drive to Dallas was worth it just to have him do the work on the truck. I will have to work on another mod list so that I can make the trip again, but for right now, I am one happy owner.

Terry, thank you so much for all you did for us. :tu: :D
