Unfortunately, yes. Mr. Boss was the previous owner. I still remember how many times he warned me about it breaking loose in the rain. It was all over with the blink of an eye. I heard the tires squeal, I turned the wheel, started spinning in the other direction, blinked and BAM over. My friend that took me to pick it up in Carrolton asked if I was going to tell him and my exact words were "I think he's going to be mad at me". Talk about feeling low.

It's not the color, its the drivers. Kids Everyone that has balled a Lightning post up. I bet they are all under 25:rolleyes: . It is a lot of responsibility to tame be careful youngin's!

Well now this post is kind of pointless on my part. The story is pretty simple. Not a lack of respect of the power, nobody was even there for me to show off to...definately wasn't that. A simple mishap that escalated rapidly when I panicked. (first and hopefully only wreck)

And the neon tubes :tu: , you guys are ruthless, haha. They were free, have another set in the garage if anyone else wants some. I posted on SVTP and NLOC that I'm planning on buying the truck back from my insurance company to part it out to anyone that needs anything. I'll be sure to post the parts available here as well as the other sites.

I'm fine physically and am just kind of loafing around with my tail between my legs. Honestly, I hadn't posted here because I was afraid of what Mr. Boss would say. I seriously have a ton of respect for you and truly felt bad when this happened. I gave my best friend my old vehicle when I bought the Lightning and I know I'd be pretty pissed if they wrecked it. I'll keep everyone updated.

Yea i hydroplaned. Wasnt even going close to the speed limit. I hydroplaned, then hit muddy water, then gravel. then a wall. I had it sumwhat undercontrol till the gravel.

Im glad my arse of a dad that autocrossed for decades spent years teaching me how to try and regain control in situations like hydroplaning, tire blow out. etc. But it only helps so much.

I'd actually feel more strange calling him "Doug", I don't know him well enough to do so. About the tail lights, I have the clear ones....the red ones (assuming those are the ones Avg Boost wants) are on the truck for now until I get it back. I'll let you know.
