Did any of you have an higher stall? I know you had a PR tranny Doug, but wasn't sure if you went w/ a higher stall or not. If so, did you have any issues pulling the boat out of the water? I'm not real worried about getting to and from the lake, just getting up the ramp. I imagine with the higher stall you have to be pretty careful not to break'em loose on a wet ramp (that sounds damn near impossible). Thoughts? I'll be pulling a 20ft boat ~3500lbs.

I'm trying to decide if I should stick w/ a stock converter or install my 24-2600 stall when I swap my tranny.

Thanks for any input!

I didnt have any issues stock or with the after market converter

But the ramps I use are good ....

Throttle control is critical whenever you drive a lightning - but you knew that
