Damn, what a trip 3 days of everything you could imagine. Just a little break;) .

That was a quick three days, thought you were not going to be back untill sunday?

Here are a few highlights from the trip. It started about 6pm Wednesday when we left my house and fired up one of my gifts from my beloved cherished, hallowed customers:bows . We got pulled over in Eastland by a DOT Trooper.

1) The state trooper DOT didn't want his picture taken. I did get a 20 minute education on trailer inspection.
2) 30 minutes later not even half way there the first tire blew out on the trailer, yeah I said first...

3) We decided we weren't going to make any good time so we ate well in Sweetwater and kicked back and savored the Reserve.
4) We headed back about noon Saturday and about half way back we blew another tire.

So we cheange it and drive cautiosly to a Discount Tire in Abilene and buy $400 worth of trailer tires upgrading to E range. Then we came home without incident... NOT!
5) Pulling a large hill before Ranger we burst a radiator hose due to old age. Fortuneately I had enough tape and wire tyes to put it back together. We used the water from the cooler and the shower to refill the system. The patch got us the 90 miles back home and is still holding strong.

Somewhere in between all this mayhem we crashed one and a half bottles of Crown and two cases of Rocky Mountain spring water. I am now a Reserve man I believe thanks BC:bows . I will also Cherish the Brickyard set as it is now called the fricking All State 400:bs ! Thanks Dana:bows

We took my buddies truck and trailer so it was a little funnier than the usual bad stuff that happens to me:D . The old gas truck got 6mpg, the diesel gets a lot better...

Sounds like most of it was a good time. Glad I was able to help in a small way. :D Sorry to see about the tires and radiator, but I was going to say I am surprised that you didnt take the new truck, since I am sure the mileage would have been better.

Make note to self...Terry has moved on to Crown Reserve...
