I live in the area and have a 20ft boat ... but unless you got white confused with silver, it wasn't me. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

BTW - My Lightning is doing great hauling it. I haven't spun on the ramp yet trying to get it out, just tugs it right up. I am somewhat afraid of leaving the L in the ramp parking lot with all the idiots around. http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/bash.gif I saw a Tahoe this weekend run into a parked trailer trying to back out of his spot and the trailer jacked the Tahoe up pretty good.

Definitely ... I'll be on the lookout for the blue Regal. ;) I was out on Lewisville all three days last weekend. Where do you put in at? I've been putting in at Tower Bay and Lake Park. I definitely prefer the ramp at Lake Park, Tower bay has a crosswind that makes it a little more difficult to get lined up on the trailer when pulling in. Tower bay is open 24/7, which is nice if you wanna stay out late.

Dude ... I told you Sat night at the fights to grab that jetski and head to Lewisville this weekend. knana Darren and Nate brought a friends Jetski on Sunday when we went, made me miss my old one! You could also always go to Austin and pick up that red Crownline if it's still available. That's a baaaaad bitch! heh

Need to fix that trim. I'm not sure if it's electrical or mechanical. I suppose I should look at it sometime :)
All this boat talk has got me looking again. I was gonna just do the home projects and be happy and then pick up a boat this winter/early spring next year. I may have found one that's tough to pass up though....we shall see :)

Here's a good tech page on the SeaDoo VTS system: http://www.sea-doo.net/techarticles/vts/index.html . I *think* if you have to buy the whole thing it's only like $250, but I'm sure that's $250 you don't wanna spend. :hammer:

I thought about looking into getting a slip, but do you pull the boat out to gas it up or do you pay marina gas prices? :vomit:

If I have something else to do to the boat that makes the 2 hour process worth it Ill pull it out but if not its just not worth the trouble
Its a 55 galln tank - The price delta is typically under 30 cents a gallon - which means a $16-25 dollar savings - To save that money I have to get a buddy and spend 2 hours jerking around ... Even a 40 dollar savings divided by 2 guys for 2 hours is 10 bucks an hour...
Like I said my weekend time is worth more than that ...
But If im going to take the boat home and do repairs or a wash and wax then hell yes I gas it up on the way back.
A slip is GREAT but its expensive ... Renting water is such a scam
Showtime
