Exactly how do you remove the dash cup holder, besides using a hammer?

If you pull it out as far as it will go. I believe there are stops. Just take a flat head screwdriver and it pops out.

I replaced the cup holder in Moonshines Lightning! You have to remove the trim ring that goes around the center A/C, Radio, etc. That will expose three screws that you can reach with a 1/4 inch ratchet. Take those out and unplug the wire clip and you are done. A new holder is around $60. The return spring clip broke on mine.
