I'm sorry, but that is crazy $$. I don't care if there were only one made in the world and it was in a glass bubble. $850k+. No doubt it is a cool car, but you couldn't even enjoy it ... at all; unless you just like looking at it.

I agree that it is a bit pricey... I just wouldnt want to have to take money out of savings to pay for it.. :D

I agree with too much!!! For a mere $150,000 you can get a 2005 GT. I heard on Automaniac show (History channel) that a McClaren goes for less than $800,00.

This could possibly be a typo? http://smilies.storagebin.us/smilies/thinking.gif

The seller should've taken the high bid of 850.800.00 while he could have.

If you can find a Ford GT for $150,000 let me know, the lowest I've seen now is over $200,000

A true McClaren F1 goes in the range of $1,000,000+

You might be thinking of the Mercedes McClaren SLR, you can get one of these for around $600,000

If I had the resources like Jay Leno, then I would spend $800,000 on a car to sit, of course he has over 150 cars and 3 airport hangers to house them according to the show on VH1

I'm in love with the gen 1 camaros, and if I had the cash I would buy it :hammer:

:eek2: The guy sold it for just over 900K :hammer: . I did some research and they only made 69 of the 1969 ZL1's and there are reported to be only 20 or 25 left in any condition.

j/k... but you probably could do that with the prices of homes in some parts of the country.

Nice car. I could build an exact replica for 1/10th the price though. 1/2 of that if I don't use a chevy block.
