I went to Speedtek for their dyno day today and I'm not very happy with the numbers. I thought I would be close to 370hp or something but not even close. My mods are, Airaide intake, exhaust, some type of a lower pulley, Diablo chip, and jb weld the silencer port.

1st run 331.8hp and 404.0tq, 104.40*F, 29.55 in-hg, 10% humidity,a/f starts at 15.50 then drops down to 14.7

2nd run 314.27hp 404.05tq 104.06*F 29.53 in-hg, 9% humidity, same a/f as 1st run.

3rd run 324.48hp 408.64 tq 105.32*F, 29.54 in-hg, 10% humidity, same a/f as 1st and 2nd run.

Very low dyno numbers and very high A/F ratio.:flaming:

If that is truly your F/A ratio, I would imediately pull that chip!

Sounds like you need a custom tune, go see Terry. You dont know the lower pulley size, you should find out what size that is?? Not to mention 104 degree weather sux bad. Plus if your at 14 a/f at the higher RPM's its too lean.

Geebus, man, you should NEVER have taken those other pulls!! Your A/F is so lean, I'm surprised you're not tossing rods and pistons out the oil pan from the detonation!! :eek2: :flaming:

The guys are right: stop what you're doing, and get that truck down to Terry ASAP and get a tune!! Before you toast that engine, and are spending a few thousand on a rebuild! :nono:

I agree with Tex, you need to get your truck to terry's shop so he can take a look at it and get you a tune.

I knew the a/f was way to lean, i thought it should of been in the high 12s. Well can someone tell me a little more about Terry shop? Anyone agree the numbers was wayyyyy too low?

I dont know if its "way" low really depends on what pulley you have. But you without a doubt have a bad tune, so not only is it dangerously lean but it will affect your performance.

15:1 a/f ratio is WAY lean. Most of y'all are running in the 10:1 range at WOT; I'm running 12:1 at WOT on my purely stock motor.

an A/F of 10.1 would be too rich, since we have blowers on our trucks the A/F needs to be in the 11.8 -12.0 range

Yeah, that's what it *should* be, but most people when they overboost the stock engine will push it down to 11 or 10:1, because they're scared of the detonation--with good cause.
