Click on the video link called Mississippi Gulf coast Damage from Skycopter 3. It’s about 20 minutes long. Unbelievable destruction! I lived in Gulfport back in 1969 when Hurricane Camille hit, and I remember the damage, but hurricane Katrina, definitely packed more punch and did much more damage from the storm surge.

Katrina was a destructive ho. Luckily my family is OK. My sister got my mom from Tuscaloosa,Alabama(west central of state near Mississippi) and took her to Huntsville, Alabama(top of state near Tennesse)Power is out in Tuscaloosa and trees down. My daughter & grandson in Birmingham, Alabama is without power and the roof of her apt was leaking. Other family members are Ok I'm sure or I would have been told.

That's some good news Derrick! I'm glad your family is ok! I feel bad for all those that lost everything and worse, family members.
