Terry and I had a 100% hit ratio. :banana: The bad news is that the shooting opportunities were, shall we say, limited. One dove flew over within range, and he's now a guest in my freezer. That's it, just one stinking bird. I've talked to two other groups of hunters, and from what I'm hearing, we weren't the only ones who had that kind of morning. Maybe this evening will be better. Maybe the birds just took opening day off. :rolleyes:

guy i work with got about 10.. he lives south of burleson in the middle of nowhwere.

I only got 2 in the morning at my spot in Mellisa...as far as the other hunters, a co-worker went up to some day hunt in Henrietta and said he and his son hit their limit in 30 minutes.....of coarse he paid 100 bucks/person for them to hunt. Aren't we in the zone for the extended season? May try going when it cools down a bit.
