Um... this is gonna be Thurs., Oct. 3, 6pm @ Papa's BBQ on Nw Hwy, correct?

I believe that is correct. The earlier the better because I think our meet may coincide with the DFWstangs.net weekly meet. Parking may be limited if that's possible at Papa's.

No more meetings in your back yard:crying: Due to the size of the club it was decided to make standard localized meetings so it is not a voting and guessing match every month:hammer: As for Hooters and Bonedaddy's they have become lunch and holiday meeting spots:tu:

If DFWStangs meets there, maybe we should reconsider time and location. :p
Maybe meet at Bonedaddy's one more time until we 'secure' our own location. I'd hate to be low on parking.
Just my .02. :d

We cant continue to make last minute venue switches. I have changedthe title of the thread to show the meeting is at Pappas. There willl be plenty of parking. We have done Bonedaddys to death. We need to announce a location as stick to it so people begin to have faith in the idea we will actually be where we say.
So The October Meeting will be at Pappas BBQ on Nw Hwy

Bonedaddy's and Hooter's will be random lunch and holiday meeting spots:)

Yeah,
I'll be thinking of you too as I sit on the pier at Fisherman's wharf in Monterey, yes really. I've been suffering today though in Sonoma valley. :) Actually, I wish I was home putting those new brake pads in.

I hang out nights at Northlake College where the Beaver runs rampant. Extra curricular activities include "beaver hunting" etc. The main focus though is "Problem Solving & Programming Techniques". Problem Solving is no problemo given you enhance your beaver hunting techniques or something... :eek2:

In my 2 years at Northlake College I encountered quite a few top notch squirrels, but didn't see much beaver. :D
Northlake and UNT, homes of the world-famous hairless beavers. If you've never seen such an animal, then I do recommend you start looking for these elusive creatures. An impressive breed.:tu:

Though I found most hairless beavers to be nocturnal creatures they always had a tan:confused: Hardwood was there favorite midnight snack. They would get very upset at the offering of softwood:nono: Liquor and beer always made the beavers more enjoyable to hang out with:tu:

DFWstangs only meets there once a month, and it's on Sundays, so not to worry.

I just wanted to drop a line and say it was yet another successful TALON meeting! Good to see so many people there. I cant wait to see the pics, hopefully someone took a few. Hope to see you all at our up and coming dyno and Hallsville events in the next couple of months!
P.S. Those of you that work in the Addison area, look for another unofficial TALON luncheon meeting to be posted in the next few weeks.

Sorry I missed it, while eating out on Redondo beach pier is cool, kind of boring when you are driving a Grand Prix and eating with high tech Nerds.

Man.. I had every intention of going to this... until I didn't leave work until after 7. I figured with the rush hour traffic, it would've taken about an hour to get there and I just wasn't up for the drive after a 12 hour day!
I think I will try to get to the next one a bit early to avoid the traffic. For those of you going over from Richardson/Plano, how long did it take you? Just curious for planning purposes. The last time I made the trip during rush hour, I seem to remember about an hour or so. Is that still accurate?
Thanks!

Crawford,
Which route did you take? I am leaving from Richardson Square Mall area. I'd normally take BeltLine to 75 to 635 to 35 to loop 12 to NW Hwy (well, that's what the old memory is telling me anyway!) It's been a few years (99 prolly) since I've spent any time over that way.
Thanks!
Crawford

I just shot down the tollway to the loop 12 exit which will put you right on NW HWY take it till you see Pappas on the right! :D
