That seems like a decent price for a jack. For what ever reason, the hydraulics always go out on my jacks. The last one to go out let my truck down on the ground with no front wheels. Thank goodness i was in my garage with a spare jack available.

That looks exactly like my craftsman jack that I have. (besides the color)

i believe you do... But the craftsman come in two versions.. I believe i have the smaller one and it works fine for me... Also sits a little lower. I went with it because i work on a lot of lowered cars and the bigger one wouldnt have fit under the cars.

I have two of these jacks on in the shope and one in the race trailer. They work grate. Thats a good price for them to. If I didn't have 2 already I would get one.

It probably will for you. Using a jack at the track on a regular basis, trashes them. It really doesn't matter how good a brand it is. Constantly taking them in and out of the truck and dropping them on the gravel, dirt or what ever select crap your pitting on, eats them up.

They have a certain amount of uses built in. In your case a jack should last you the rest of your life and your kids lives too. In a case like mine or anyone else that makes alot of use with a jack, the same jack may crap out after 2 years. Somebody like me will use a jack more times in a month than you might in your entire life.......hmmm...another way of putting it is I do 100 times more "jacking" than you do:evil . Jezus...imagine how much "jacking" a guy like Terry does. he is a professional "jacker"....:d

Rocks:D

Also its some state law or something that a company cant rebuild a jack that has failed.. I have had a few people tell me that including sears. When i went to go buy my jack there was a return with a recipet in it. I asked if they had a new unopened unit and they said yes and told me they cant even sell a jack that has been returned even if it was never used.

Even if it is not a State law, I can see why they would be concerned with selling a returned Jack. The liability of selling a jack that fails might be high.

I was thinking that you have had to be more of a "sprint jacker" than him recently. And you might have more "reach" on him too.. but his "jacking" might be more consistent than yours.. :evil
