PUMP

I am working on mod for the heat exhanger/pump system and needed to know the pump gpm. I did several searches, and found what I needed on the Bosch web site. During the search I ran across several threads asking the same question, but without real definitive answers. Mostly these dealt with alternate pumps to the Bosch in order to save $.

For anyone wanting the information, the attached pdf file has the pump specifications and performance curves. Since it was in metric units, I added the pump curve in customary U.S. units (GPM and p.s.i.). If you need to know the exact application GPM number (it is somewhere between 4 to 6 GPM dependant upon pressure drop), measure the differential pressure between the pump suction and discharge, or alternatively measure the voltage and amperage and find the flow from that. Note that the Bosch performance curve plots amps, flow rate and pressure head at voltage of +/- 13-volts. so amperage must be adjusted for actual voltage, by equation:
performance curve amps = (measured amps x measured volts) / 13.
