But, I GOT A JOB!!
I'm gong to be a disaster housing inspector for FEMA. I'm being sent to Houston today for training, and from what I understand from my mother-in-law (who's been doing this for years), I'll probably be sent right out into the field immediately. No idea how long I'll be there, but minimum assignment is 21 days, maximum indefinite.
This is definitley a part-time gig, but the average pay rate is in the vicinity of $50 per inspection, with an average of 10-15 a day, so you do the math. :d
No applause, just throw money. ;) I konw it's about damn time, and I'm excited.
Chances are I'll miss the damn meeting again, but the job takes precedent.
