Can the bung be welded into place just after the collector? or is
it a must to have it welded 18" downstream from the collector?
I've also read where some have installed the sensor in the rear
O2 bung.

Please advise.

I think I read where somebody posted over on NLOC that the reading only differed by .1 between the rear O2 location and the collector with stock pre-cats and catalytic converters. I have long tubes and am going to try to get it installed close to the collector flange on the driver side header as close as practical that you can work with the collector flange bolts. I would think you would be fine installing it in the location in that pic.

I like to put them on the drivers side. Either location is fine for 95% of the users. When you consider the dyno opreators stick a probe in the tailpipe you are already ahead of the game.:tu:

Makes sense. Thanks. I'll probably install it on the drivers side rear bung.

It is okay in the rear bung. I have many data logs now it reads 0.1 point high due to the cat at idle, no difference at WOT.

I'm not running cats so I would imagine it should be right on.

Good luck on the wiring it is a Bitch routing all the wires, but way cool when it is done.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a buddy coming over in the morning to help me install it.

I guess for people who install it in the rear o2 spot they turn off the rear O2's via the tune (or will the widebands simulate narrowband O2's as well?)

I currently have eliminators on mine. I pulled the rear O2 sensor out
and left the eliminator connected. Everything is hooked up and working
fine. I have an appointment tomorrow with PSI Motorsports in Webster
Texas. I will have the rear O2's turned off through tune.

All turned out great! The torque numbers exceeded my expectations.
