This week the stations near my house have dropped an average of -.10 per day. I've got gas over here for $2.55 and tomorrow it'll probably be under $2.50.

Supply is greater than demand, there is plenty of gas and people are reducing their usage. Except for me I have burned up 150 gallons in the past 2 weeks.

It's a friggin conspiracy. Prices drop a month and a bit before christmas shopping season hits... Hmmm... How convenient for the economy...

Diesel is going up another 140$$ fill up yesterday. 3.19 a gallon at WalMart. $140 last Friday as well this 560 plus a month for fuel is ridiculous:( .

This price gouging BS with diesel needs to stop. It costs less to produce diesel, but yet the A-Holes keep the price on it at the highest rate...WTF?????

What are you talking about? I just paid $2.95 a gallon for 87? If prices are dropping there is a conspiracy! They're dropping everywhere but here!!!!!!!

I heard that when we were paying $3.25 the Cali was still under $3 after hurricane Katrina, is that true?

I was in California in early September and prices between Texas and California were almost identical at the time. Normally it's quite a bit higher in CA.

While in Denver and Wyoming at the end of September and the gas in both of those places was much less than it was in Texas.

After Katrina 87 octane was over $3.00 a gallon for a couple of weeks. Now you can get 87 for $2.85- $3.00. I keep saying 87 because super, 91 for me and 93 for most of you, is .20-.30 more.

I think I remember Brook asking me about prices here a while back because he was here and he saw slightly lower prices than I did. That's the problem in Ca. Prices go up and down by .10-.12 overnight, sometimes for little or no reason.

That's actually pretty much the way it is here too. Back in July, I was down at my Uncles at the Southern tip of Texas and it was all over the place every day down there too.

It's been a really crap summer regarding gasoline prices, but those are small worries compared to all those peeps in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama etc... :(

Terry installed my new Transfer Flow 46 gallon replacement tank today, so when I leave I'll be looking to do my first BIG fill up. Best price I've seen today for diesel is $3.19, so I'm expecting just under $140 for the fill up. :crying:

But then I'm counting on about 700 miles before I hit a fuel station again. :tu:
