Will a 2001 center console fit in the lightning? I know the 98 will but I can't find a pic of a 01. Was wondering if its wide like the 03 04 model? Plus I'm looking for someone in the DFW area to cut my seat, any one got a recommendation?

I think they are all pretty much the same, except the size of the lid. The reason I bought this one with the a/c controls in the console is cause I'm replacing the stock position with in car pc hard drive and filling in the hole below the controls on the console with a touch screen monitor to control the computer.

Mr C's (used to be Creels Radiator/Upholstery/Glass) in Garland right across the street from the DART station in downtown does excellent upholstery work. he's worked on many cars that have been in several magazines. he's familar with that type of material (black & grey...he covered my box). it will have to be special ordered from detroit. he's done work on every vehicle i've owned (i've lost track how many though). he'll do anything you can afford.
here's their shops number:
