Missing a Feature :(

I'm not sure how far into getting finished on the board. One thing I really miss is updated "Unread Messages" link after you make a post. You get the Private Messages link at the top, but not an updated "Unread" one like there used to be.

Is this something on your list or should I just continue with my workarounds?

I'm :bows to you from here because I know all this stuff is a hassle. Thanks for even doing it at all.

Its there - But only on the home page

Reason is that it causes a LOT of load on the server to scan for your unread on every page

What I do is click the link - it opens a page of the unread messages - then right click those links and choose open in new window

That way the summary page is always waiting for you...

Also you can get back to the home page any time by clicking the TALON logo at the top.

The site is pretty much running 100% - Still waiting to see if the mod developers come up with new versions of the Timeslip database and the arcade

Talon Logo was my workaround. Thanks for the reply. I obviously can't see the load issues.
