The horses ass is pretty funny as long as you don't think about the poor horse!

I thought the last pick where the guy shoots a picture of the plane as pilot ejects was pretty amazing.
Nice find.

I remember that T-bird crash. That pilot got out a nanosecond before that 16 slammed into the ground. :eek2:

I saw one of your service vans come through town on a flatbed last week. It looked like it rolled hard, I hope the driver was okay:( .

the guy walked away with a badly damaged hand and some sore ribs but that's it. it happed on southbound 67 between cockrell hill and main. a guy getting on the highway hit one car and that car hit our guy who was in the fast lane. it knocked him into and over the guardrail, into the median. he was airbourn and then end over end, rolled four times and stopped rightside up just before falling into ten mile creek. had it rolled one more quarter-roll it would have gone over the edge and down to the bottom of the creek. it's a miracle he wasn't killed. he WAS wearing his seat belt. any other part of the highway and he'd have gone into oncoming traffic.

so i guess he lived? i figured ejecting at that low an altitude that he wouldn't have made it.

He got out OK and lived. That seat pushes you out and up about 400 feet, so his chute had been open for only a few seconds when he landed. From the force of the ejection his spine was compressed almost two inches. I guess tht's better than dead!!

Shouldn't he have known his altitude was too low to try an end over end loop like that?
