Final race of the season for TMCCC is at Redline Raceway this weekend. With the cold weather in place, is there anyone ready to go and run?

So far...

Maybe, I still have the front runners on and race gas in the tank. Maybe pulley up and take the tailgate and cover off for a new PB in the 1/8.

I would like to make it, if the weather stays cool but with light winds. I do need a bunch more practice on my lights.:hammer:

I am guessing your plan wasn't for you to run 23lbs of boost.....:D .

Nope, something in the 15 psi range, you know I can't run there on a stock block.
But all BS aside what is the diameter of your lower, you can PM without BS please on what the lower really is:D

Quite frankly...I have yet to measure my lower. It is what JDM calls an 8lb ring. I normally run it with the 3 inch upper which puts my boost around 18-19 lbs. The pully I tried on my first pass was my 2.5. Big mistake!!! I have yet to run decent times with the 2.50 upper. I think it spins the blower too much and creats alot of heat.

My 2.75 actually runs better than the 2.5, most of the time. My 3 seems to get the best 60's and thus gives me the best ET's. The 3 is what I have gotten my high 10 passes on. For some reason...the 2.5 and 2.75 increases the torque by alot and only gives me about 8 and 10 H.P. respectively. Jim keeps telling me the answer isn't in more boost at this point, but more in traction. I spin too much when I get below the 3" upper.

Anyway....what the heck kind of callout was that. "Hey Ron, I'll race ya heads up, but I want you to handicap your truck", come on now....:D .

It might be interesting to see what my truck would do on 15lbs of boost. I haven't run it that low since it was stock...:rll: .

Yeah, that was pretty weak wasn't it.
I am curious at the same boost how my truck would compare.

Does anyone know if they will have 104 race gas at Redline tomorrow?
I may not go if I can't find out, hate to go and not be able to put the boost to it against Rocks.;)
