In the old version the new posts icon was always visible under the private messages icon in the top right area. Now it is only visibl on the home page, it disappears whenever you click to a section or thread.

In the old version the new posts icon was always visible under the private messages icon in the top right area. Now it is only visibl on the home page, it disappears whenever you click to a section or thread.

yep - that search is VERY server intensive - its only on the home page for a reason ...

What I do is click it - a new page opens that has all the new threads - when you see a thread you like - right click the thread and choose open in new window

that way the new threads summary page is always there
