Hey guys,
Well I'm finally going to do something to my truck. ;) I think it feels neglected, I've done so little to it.
Anyway, I have a 2psi PSP lower pulley I'm going to install tomorrow if all goes well.
The instructions seem very good, and the install looks very straight-forward.
Any tips from those who've done one would be appreciated, however. It doesn't look like there will be any "gotchas", but one never knows for sure til everything is apart...at least that's how hot-rodding tends to go. :D
Thanks,

Well if it goes like most we will be here to help you take the #2 off to upgrade. My JDM #2 was fun to get off. Broke 4 breakovers and 1 ratchet. Good luck! Its not that bad taking off the stock. If ya get stuck theres allways us folks to help ya!:tu:

PSP is a bolt on not screw on.. Removing it will be no problem
Mark you should be able to do the install from the bottom.. You need the right wrench to pull the stocker and a trany strap. I have the strap if you need it
And I have a little pulley experience. Not with PSP's but others.

I went ahead and got the install "tools" from Sal. The large Allen-headed socket and the strap for the torque converter to lock the motor in order to get the stocker off.
Hopefully, it will be a piece of cake.
I figure if I can do engines, trannies and rear-ends...I should be able to handle this. :)
Thanks!

The PSP 2 pounder is a piece of cake. If I can do it in an hour (including putting the truck on jack stands), you can probably do it in 30 minutes easy.

Sixpipes and L8 Apex...thanks for the affirmation. Yeah, I don't want to go firing it up with the trans lock on. OUCH!!!!
The local O'Reilly's is getting me a K080670 belt that should be here today ~4pm. I will try to use the stock 66.7" belt, but went ahead and got me a new one coming anyway. The stock belt is 30k miles old now.
If I run into issues this afternoon during the install, I'll be shedding my tears here, so be prepared.
