Okay its time to get new tires.
Lets take a look at the possible candidates for smokers on the back of my L. (In my price range)
Nitto 555 WR300 $207
Toyo Proxies WR420 $250
Badyear F@#*1 WR300 $192
Now I had the toyos put on my first L after someone apparently wanted my sh!tty F1's more than they thought I did. I liked the toyos but I figured I'd ask the experts before I spent about a months pay for a possible critical error.

Where are you getting Nitto's for 207? That is a deal. I love my Nitto's I push the heck out of them and they haven't failed me yet:tu: Still look new at 10K miles of 140+ and some track time.

I was looking at those. But the old thin wallet said "not no but HELL NO!!!!!!!!!" But I must agree who needs rain tires. Oh and that price of 207 was for online order and includes shipping.

Why not they are within a few bucks of any other tire? They will last longer than F-U's:rolleyes:

The ZR's I priced were about 300 ea. Thats just too much for me to afford right now. Now next year is a different story all together. Next year old Craig is rolling out the big bucks. I turn 21 and the truck gets 20's. :tu: :tu:

Depends upon what you;re looking for, besides round and black. If you want the ultimate handling the Nitto's are probably the best bet. But, if you need to get more than 10K miles out of a set of tires, I don't think you can beat the Toyo's. Got 35K miles on mine so far, and still can't see the end in sight.

The nittos really sound great too when your leaving the line. But the almighty budget will have to ultimately make the choice.

You have them marked 207 in your post not 300:confused: Toyo's are for commuters and L owners over 35:d Get the Nitto's you be happy! If needed I can get them local for 225$ ea.

Garett might take offense to that. As for me, I'm quite pleased to have made it to my ancient age, although several people lost bets on whether or not I'd make it.
