Next time do with a dirtbike in the back and you will be my hero! L's are sick. I'm glad I bought one. It must be freaky to see a truck coming up behind you at that speed. I haven't experienced it yet.

I hope you were at least on the cold tune. Let me know when to have the third motor ready:evil . I loved driving up there in my L and I definately paid the price of admission. Just image how Stan runs in the 168mph AVERAGE class in the Silver State Classic:bows .

A little motivation for those top end racers. The glory, the pain, and the custom plate that says it all.:D

My stock engine let go around 5300-5400rpm which calculates out to about 164mph, it sure was pulling good and the smoke trail afterwards was nothing short of NASCAR greatness. The spoiler was throwing a 20' high 3 lane wide white and blue cloud. I shut it off and coasted two miles to the next exit and was still doing 90mph or so. I had to stand on the Brembos to slow down enough almost 3 miles later.

No, I was on the warm tune... It was 68 degrees out, so I figured what the hell. Hey, the truck is already on its 2nd motor, so 3rd time is a charm... and the next will be built to handle the power.

168 would be cool...great pics.

I've only had mine up to 140 once, but I doubt that the speedo is too accurate.

With all the talk about engines going boom do I need to worry about anything in the stock form? I suppose that if it did go boom I could just take it under warranty as it is still stock.
