Denver voters passed I-100 54% to 46%. 21 and up can posess up to an ounce of green but.... if you get caught you can still be prosecuted under state law. The fine is $100 if caught and you can not sell it or grow it. So as I read it even if you get caught and done by the state law it still does not seem like a big deal. Nothing was said about jail time or anything or that sort. The group that is protesting is called S.A.F.E.R. (Safer Alternative for Enjoyable Recreation) Just thought I would pass the news on I thought it was interesting and knew nothing of it until this morning on the news.

Wait, i'm confused. You can possess it, but not "have" it?? How in the hell can you legally have something, but then be fined for having it? This makes no sense.

Its really just a symbol they said. They were discussing doing a state wide vote or something. It is a $100 fine then a $100 surcharge that the cop will probally pocket. It does not make a lot of sense but a step closer to legalizing it with no consiquences.
