Just read on ESPN that Terrell Owen is suspened for 3 games then will be deactivated for the rest of the season. What a Jackass. I have never been a pro athelete at that level but you would think that you could just play ball, make your elevendy billion dollars a year and keep your focking mouth shut.. :hammer: With any luck the guy will never play in he NFL again.

He'll plague the league for years to come. Just Like Dennis Rodman did to the NBA.

A lot of those guys do not deserve the right to make millions doing something fun. Jackholes!!! I wish I wasn't a chubby midget so I could play in the NBA or NFL. That Spreewell jerkoff pisses me off too. These guys think the world owes 'em something.

I wouldnt be so sure on this one. I dont think there are that many teams that are going to want to take the chance on him at this point. If they did, it would be a low salary with no signing bonus and a keep your mouth shut clause. This guy has caused his organization so much pain, and he did the same thing in San Fran..
Having said that... it might be just the kind of guy that Parcells will think he can control...

He's not going to get a big payday ever again. There will be no team willing to put up with the crap for a long term contract, so if he does play again, it'll be on a year by year contract and if he opens his mouth he's gone. He was en route to being one of the best ever WRs in NFL history and probably en route to the Hall of Fame one day, but he just screwed himself. If he ever gets into the Hall of Fame I'll be surprised and the founders of the NFL will turn over in their graves.

Playing in the NFL is a priviledge. You are a professional, and some of these guys need to learn how to act like it. Hopefully this will wake that jackass up. All I have to say is good riddance...the NFL is better off without him.

There will be some team that picks him up......Arena league maybe.

I read in the paper that the Westside Christian Church Flag Football team is looking for a back-up.

Not saying that it couldn't happen, but doesn't Parcells have his hands full with Keyshawn Johnson? That would be quite a formidable team though with the addition of TO.

I agree 100% that if he signs a contract, it will be a short one, and it will have a "shut your piehole" clause.

Come on.....Randy Moss ring a bell ? TO is a great talent, likely the best receiver in football. He will likely get all his money this season without even playing. He'll get cut and the Eagles will get nothing for him. He'll end up somewhere with a coach that doesn't mind problem children (Raiders etc) and will pay great dividends to whomever wants a playmaker Pro Bowl receiver.......unfortunately the mouth comes with him....but that's something that most will take to get that talent level.

OMFG....watching the press conference...Drew Rosenhaus is a freakin' spineless bottom feeder! What a scumbag. Dodging almost every question and just filling the press conference with his own BS. I see the point about just giving the press enough, but the speculation that'll come from it will be worse tenfold. I'm reminded of Mark McGwire's testimony during the MLB steroid ordeal...what a circus.

Guy on Fox sports this morning says it's all the Eagles fault for not giving TO as good a contract as they did Javon Keerse (sp) and he should have had his temper tantrum.

I'm not a football fan as I'm a "fish out of water" in this space, but I ran across this pic and thought you football fans would enjoy.
