Got a flashing airbag light on the dashboard the other day. LateApex pulled the codes and we figured out it was the indicator light on the passenger airbag disable switch. I was gonna ignore it until I realized I couln't get it inspected with a fault code showing. Long story short- I pulled the assembly out of the dash to replace it and found it was an LED on a printed circuit board. No replacement available says AutoZONE- Go directly to Ford. Ford sold me the replacement bulb (with circuit board and surrounding plastic case) for......... $100.00!!!!!!!!!!!! Moral of Story- If you disable your passenger air bag for your kids while they are growing up, add a C-note to your maintenance costs for this LED..................This has to be some kind of record for Dealer gouging?
