I noticed they make our size in these.

it's between the Toyos, the Nitto NT555 or the Goodyear F1's for the front tires. I'll have new Nitto 555R drag radials on the rear.

Anyone had experience with the Toyo's, good or bad?

i have them all the way around, and havent had any problems. If you are running Nitto's in the rear, why not run the 555's in the front so it matches?

That's one of my options. Currently I have the F1's in the front with the Nitto DR's in the rear. The Nittos in the front will be in name only, they don't look anything like the rear at all.

The Toyo's are about $40-50 cheaper per tire. I just didn't know if they were any good.

I've been running them on all 4-corners as they're a very tough compound (420 rating, I believe).

They're tough, but slick on a hard-takeoff.

I've got the Toyo's on the front and Nitto's on the back. They seem to be fine ... last forever. I hate the look of the sidewall though, and hate cleaning them if it makes a difference. The Nitto have a smooth sidewall, and the toyos are grooved up. For just being on the front of your truck, they'll be fine. You could probably leave a 300 yard burnout mark if you slapped 'em on the back. :rll:

Don't be jicky run the damn Nittos. The side walls and the tread match it is just stretched on the DR's. Toyos have a superfubar serrated sidewall that causes wind drag. They are also hard enough to be considered runflats and howl like something that howls unpleasantly.:tu:

lol.....I saw Jeff's on the front and they look nothing like the drag radial rears. I was just exploring options there kimosabe....also, no one has any in stock, can't get them for 3-5 days. So looks like I'll be getting them when I return from China.

I have the Nitto 555's up front and out back. I won't show the pictures of why I don't run the 555r's out back for daily driving.

How many miles do you guys get out of a set of the Nitto drag radials? Do you think 6-8000 miles is reasonable....including a trip or two to the track and no burning out on the street?

I have had my DRs on my Mustang for about 12000 miles. They will soon need to be replaced. They have tread left but are slicker than hell when it is wet out.

I have been to lightning fest and back, to the track and back with countless track burnouts and still good, i would say i have a solid 4k on them right now
