I need to be careful on the street. I thought those were front wheel drive. I would have to work a little to beat one of those in my Mustang. How fast are they? I go altitude corrected low 12's on regular radials. Could a slightly modded GTO do that? I would hate to lose to one of those but I guess it's not entirely impossible. It's bad enough that I got beat by a c5 on nitrous the last time I went to the track. The agony of it all!

I have suprised several people with mine!0-60 in 4.6 sec. fully independent suspension,i swear its quicker.Havent found a Mustang even close to catching me.I would like to try a Cobra out @ the light.05 LS2 6.0 is 400 H.P. stock,a top end of 180 MPH.

Those things bone stock are really fast. Curtis (REXRENEGADE) and Linda have one. I think that slightly modded it could go 12's. No, they are not FWD

You would probably beat me light to light. On radials I need to stretch my legs a little before I get going. I've got over 400 at the wheels and only weigh 2900 lbs. The only thing that I can make in 4.6 seconds is a lot of smoke. Those GTO's are impressive.

Wasn't me!If it was you would have been several car lengths behind.:D I have driven a standard with a 5.7l and they dont jump off the line like the automatics.Even with the traction control on the rear end on mine is cutting loose if you dont ease into it up to 3rd gear. http://media.putfile.com/Jason-04-GTO-11adot75

The 04's come with the 5.7L LS1, and the 05+ come with the 400 LS2, they also have true dual exhaust When racing a Auto you have to take into consideration the drivetrain loss which I believe is around 18% (??) while a 6-speed is quite lower

All it takes is $.:tu:The automatics are faster 0-60 than the manuals by a tenth of a sec..The autos bang through the gears like the lightning.A manual is more fun to drive though!!
