According to the rep who was on-hand, the tranny/driveline accounts for an 18% loss, which translates to:
356.1hp/(1-.18) = 434.3 crank hp
and
425.4 ft-lbs/(1-.18) = 518.8 crank torque
Holy snit. I had no idea.
There were Cobras (both '03s and '04s) that were running in the neighborhood of 400 hp, with the highest being 460 RWHP (with a 15% driveline loss on them, translates to 541 crank HP). But I was torque king 'til another Lightning rolled on, running a CAI, single-blade throttle body, cat-back, chip, and 4# pulley, and he pulled 400 RWHP and 510 ft-lbs tq (488 and 620, respectively).
Like I said, I had no idea what these darn things are capable of. O. M. F. G.
Damn, I love my truck!! YEE-HAW!

I just got my first tuning dyno on Go_dzila. My first run was with the fuel cell and the big Weldon pump on 93 octane. The tune was set up for the street pumps which ran at 40 psi but the Weldon put out 45 psi and caused me to run very rich. On the first run, I had a lot of ignition break down and also some blower belt slippage. Run 2 was done in second gear where as the first run was in third. The second run was with the street system and 93 octane and had less ignition break down and a very nice F/A but made less HP. Conditions were hot and humid! For those that are unfamiliar with Go_dzila, it is a 4.6L Regular ole F150!

Man, that thing continues to make horsepower past the 6K mark! Very cool and should be easier to launch due to the lower torque number. Not that you're ever going to take it to the track.Originally Posted by Flats Man

Cool. Sounds like a real hotrod!
That dyno run could best be described as Breath in --- EXHALE, sounds good bud!!
Post your dyno numbers and information on this thread. We can get organized later.
Mods at the time were: Stock block & heads 4# lower, 60# injectors, 255 gph pumps, shorty headers, upgraded intercooler/heat exchanger, JLP intake, KB 2.3...
Results with increase in boost and no tune adjustment on a cold day...

(417HP 480Tq) on a heatsoaked to hell blower. Made 6 datalog pulls and had to bring it right into the dyno, I was told I was the last one and everyone was waiting. Then after I make my pulls there had to be 6 more trucks make pulls . My truck could have been cooling off during that time. That's OK, Terry made some tweaks to my tune and she runs totally different now, I know there is more power there. Look for new #'s soon .
