Yep, it is a whole different car. In the C5 they just did, heads, cam, exhaust, wheels, scoops. to a stock C5. The new C6 Zo6 has the 427, brakes, wide body kit etc...

Yes, Terry is right... the C5 car was an upgrade over a stock C5, but nothing like the difference in a C6 vs. Z06 now. Also, the C5 Z06 stickered for ~$50-51k, which was still below a fully-loaded C5 'vert at the time.

Saw a new 2012 Shelby,i like the way the car stands.It was all stock,maybe a roush???Looks diff from the first models.Love the snake logo.what do they run in the 1/4 now??

I have been eying the 2013 Shelby. The car has come a long way from 2007 when I built my first one. I bet they are still nose heavy and feel sluggish compared to a vette or such. But at least with 650hp they can roll it up faster. It has a lot of style and the seats are sweet.
