Yup. I was out of it by the summer and finished 3rd out of four thanks to Doug turning into a slacker. Very frustrating year, but I'm good for next year.
I'm up for next year. Maybe my Oija board won't break down during the summer season.
Okay, I will set it up again for next year.
They are changing the cars again, so who knows, I think we get:
removal of the splitter(good for looks)
fuel injection(fake technology PR, think it will be what is in my 1988 K5/TBI)
alcohol fuels(fake green initiative PR for Sonoco sponsorship, they will get worse fuel mileage)
and a change for the chase(again PR, it won't matter JJ wins again unless having Jr in his shop is a big distraction, I think this maybe enough though to stop JJ).
Summary: new aerodynamic issues, engine reliability, and fuel mileage. Same things that made this year so random, with the wing change, the new ford motor, and Toyota so poor on mileage.
If you throw in the Unobtanium jinx, that may stop JJ for sure
