    93 Project truck

Over a year ago, I picked up a wrecked 93 in San Antonio.

    Some tear-down shots...

    Old motor....

Check it out as of 10 PM tonight...

I'm using Flats Man's 94 shortblock and Edelbrock Performer heads and an SD cam with stock 19# injectors. Also ceramic coated the lower intake and Ford Motorsport shorty headers for a little added bling. I like the look of the aluminum valve covers. Kind of old school looking, heh?

Okay, cool, but why not paint the block lime green to match the other parts?

Well, high-temp paint is hard to find in lime green, so I'm going with Ford blue in the engine compartment. Besides, you won't be able to see the suspension from the top when the fenders go on. It will take several more months of weekend work to finish the engine compartment. Hope to get it ready for paint by January.

Thanks guys. Motors are always nice and clean looking before the wiring harness goes on etc... The challenge will be to make it look nice after all the parts are on.

The truck will belong to my neighbor/friend when we are done with it. It is an SD truck so it has a mild cam and will have a small blower, probably low 14 second truck.
